A professional desktop scanner that incorporates Fujfilm’s unique Super Linear Quadline CCD and multi-lens technology. The Lanovia Quattro offers high resolution and superior quality scans with very high productivity.
A four-lens optics system and patented Super-Linear CCD technology provide very high resolutions and greater dynamic range for superb scanning quality
The Lanovia Quattro's four-lens optics provide a greater maximum resolution for enlargements up to 4000%. Its 16-bit digitisation algorithms deliver even greater dynamic range and the unique Fujifilm Super Linear Quadline CCD enables lineart originals and colour separations to be scanned dot-for-dot at 1200 dpi in a single pass.
Multiple lens and large platen area lead to greater scanning versatility
The lenses within the Quattro are automatically selected depending on the original being scanned and the required output format. Lens 1 scans the entire platen in one pass at 762 dpi, useful for fast scanning of large originals or multiple smaller originals at moderate enlargements. This lens is also used for fast overview scans, significantly improving productivity. Lenses 2, 3 and 4 are selected for progressively higher resolutions and enlargements up to a maximum 5000 dpi.
Scanning productivity to meet the most demanding deadlines
The Lanovia Quattro is designed to be a high quality workhorse scanner aimed at professional pre-press users such as repro companies, newspapers, publishers and printers who demand flexibility and a higher level of performance. It is capable of 44 high quality scans per hour, based on the Seybold standard of 6cm x 7cm, 400% enlargement, 350dpi output resolution, CMYK output format. This productivity figure includes mounting, overview scanning and setup.
ColourKit scanning software allows you to control colour consistency throughout the image capture process
ColourKit is a modular image and colour management solution that intelligently uses ICC profiles to ensure high standards of colour consistency through all stages of the print process, and which adds extraordinary levels of image editing and processing power. ColourKit puts you firmly in control of image handling and manipulation with its powerful batch scanning and editing capabilities. It offers easy integration into any RGB and CMYK workflow, and ICC profiling ensures compatibility with the user’s existing colour-managed environment.
XY technology ensures consistently high scanning quality irrespective of where the original is placed on the platen
Fujifilm's advanced XY technology can locate an image and move the scan head directly underneath it to ensure high-quality scans from originals placed anywhere on the scanner bed.
Robust design and build for long term, trouble-free operation
The cast alloy frame ensures that the Lanovia Quattro scanner is stable and able to produces consistent, high quality scanns.
