GMG ColorProof for Nottingham’s Workshop Design
1st November 2005- Workshop Design Company, a Nottingham based graphic design specialist, purchased the GMG Colorproof Rip software from Fastek Graphic Services. To help them achieve consistent colour results the software was supplied with a Gretag MacBeth IC Colour 210 spectrophotometer.
Workshop Design can now produce colour accurate proofs on an Epson Stylus Pro 4000 for their clients to ECI PSR Gravure specifications in order to match the proofs generated by printers globally.
Amongst other clients, Machine Mart, Britain's Number One specialist supplier of Power Tools, Machinery & Workshop Equipment, with 49 Superstores nationwide, will benefit from the dramatic increase in turnaround times as compared to Workshop’s previous proofing workflow.

We now have the confidence and training to handle our clients pre - press requirements, saving time and money. We are now fully compatible with the Mondadori print group in Verona, Italy who are specialists in large run catalogue production.
