Ricoh launches Pro C720 and Pro C720S

Ricoh is pleased to announce the launch of the Pro C720 and Pro C720S. the latest addition to Ricoh’s Pro series of products, designed specifically for the production environment.
These two new colour systems benefit from the heavy production values of the Pro C900 and are tailored to meet the production levels and price sensitivity of the light production market.
Main benefits of Pro C720/720S
Light production performance – 72 ppm for colour and mono printing with no slow down for heavy media, up to 300 g/m2 and benefiting from the established media qualification programme available with the Pro C900 colour devices.
Exceptional print quality – Genuine 1200dpi print resolution and wide gamut toners give exceptional image quality and colour accuracy.
Broad market appeal - The Pro C720/720S are targeted at businesses, such as print on demand production houses, corporate print rooms and commercial printers taking their first step into digital colour. With an average monthly volume of 40,000 prints, the new models perfectly complement the successful Pro C900 family of digital colour devices.
Choice of models – Pro C720 printer and the Pro C720S scanner models benefit from the Fiery controller and standard EFI production and colour management tools.
Continuous print runs - The Pro C720/720S have large media supplies with a maximum of 11,000 sheets from up to seven sources, which can be replenished without interrupting printing.
Professional finishing options – 100 sheet stapling, 2/4 hole punch finisher, Z-fold unit, GBC StreamPunch, professional booklet making and hi-capacity stackers, the Pro C720/720S can fit into any light production environment and deliver professional quality results.
Totally user friendly – a large LCD display brings the printing, scanning and copying controls to the user, while on-the-fly toner replacement, air assisted LCTs, double feed detection and a purge tray ensure the minimum of operator intervention and production delays.
Maximises productivity - continuous on-line support from the Ricoh @Remote utility gives web-based monitoring for pre-emptive service and supplies support.
Business workflow integration – with the copy, scan and document distribution functions, the Pro C720S adds additional services to the centralised print room.
